Kurzweil VOICE for Windows Release 2.0 is the latest version of this award-winning voice recognition system. Kurzweil VOICE for Windows Release 2.0 incorporates a breakthrough continuous number recognizer that enables the user to enter numbers, dates, and other numerical data more efficiently. The system also comes with a new discrete speech recognition engine that provides an error rate reduction of up to 40%, compared with previous versions of the product.

Using Kurzweil VOICE for Windows, you can combine speech with the keyboard and the mouse to develop an easy and natural approach to personal computing. Kurzweil VOICE for Windows supports voice input for navigation, which drives the Windows operating system and Windows-based applications on a command and control basis, and dictation, which enables the user to create text and enter data simply by speaking.

Users can choose either a 60,000-word or a 30,000-word active vocabulary. Kurzweil VOICE Release 2.0 incorporates a new version of Kurzweil AIs very large vocabulary, speaker-independent speech recognition engine that now combines discrete dictation with continuous number technology. Kurzweil VOICE also has on-line knowledge, including acoustic recognition models and spellings, for a total of 200,000 words.

Kurzweil VOICE for Windows is easy to install, learn, and use. No training of the system on the users voice is required, and Kurzweil VOICE for Windows can be used immediately upon installation. It automatically adapts to your speech and language patterns over time, boosting ongoing recognition accuracy to 95% or above, with easy error correction.
