Post Notes for MBS 8.0 Release


Read The Following FIRST before INSTALLING: MBS Release 8.0 Special Note It has come to our attention that there might be a conflict of 8.0 installation files with previous updates of MBS, which in turn may cause problems installing your MBS 8.0 Upgrade. (If you have already installed your update please continue reading.)

Please follow the directions below to check to see if you have this problem:

  1. Exit to your system prompt.....f:\mbs1 or c:\mbs
  2. Type....dir f:\mbs\prg*.exe or dir c:\mbs\prg*.exe
  3. If you see ANY files listed go to #4 below, if you see 'NO FILES FOUND' you can stop here.
  4. You must delete those files that start with PRG in the MBS program directory. Please call technical support for assistance in removing those files. Deleting the wrong files in this directory can be FATAL, therefore it is best to call technical support BEFORE deleting any files. After removing the files that are causing the problem, you are safe to proceed with the upgrade installation.
  5. If you have already installed MBS 8.0 Update, please call technical support.
  6. We will help you remove those files and re-install the update and any subsequent patches.
