MBS also provides the ablitiy to review claims after submission, accepts electronic remittance, and generates a transmission summary. Clearing House Option allows submission of claim forms to many national private insurance carriers.
The complications of medical billing require patient accounts billed by several different methods simultaneously. MBS will create and track unique claims with a few keystrokes. This capability allows you to enter charges as billable only to the patient, insurance only, etc. User-Programmable Billing Schedules give claim and billing functions a level of “intelligence.” MBS uses real dates, just as most manual offices, not billing cycles to determine when to bill patients. Patients' statements receive consideration to each charge and payment entered as to HMO contract status, Accept Assignment/Non-Accept assignment, Workers Compensation, and user definable categories.
