Set the best configuration for your Printer with HCFA 1500.

First it is important to realize that the information below is provided as a guideline.  The same model Laser Printer can vary from these settings on different computers.  To setup your printer for claims Select the Print Claims option from them front Tree Menu of MBS32, you will see the window below.   Click the Form # > button on the mid-right of the screen.

The best font for any printer is 'LinePrinter'.  Dot Matrix printers often to not have this font so 'Courier' is a common option.  If neither of these is available 'Terminal' is another good option.  Start with the Top, Bottom, Left, and Right settings shown below and make adjustment as necessary.

Getting Rid of the 'Under Construction' message for Claim Printing.

Step 1)  To change the MBS32 menu for Printing Claims to the claim printing you must enter the ADMIN.EXE program.  Go to the User - > Menu Access, it will look like this:UserMenu.gif (11426 bytes)


Step 2)  Select a User\Menu and Double-Click on their menu.
Step 3)  Select the 'Print Claims' part of the menu and press the '>>Edit Node' button in mid screen.

Step 4)  Change the 'Command Line' to read 'MBSD82.EXE'. 
Step 5)  Click 'Update' on the Screen above.
Step 6)  Click 'Search' and Repeat this process for everyones menu.

12/2/99   - Unload these new DDF files into the [Data] directory. 
For example: F:\MBS32\DATA\P1 or
F:\MBS32\DATA\PRACT1

To install these patches:
1. Click on the text next to the  icon above.   The following windows will appear, click on OK.

2. Select the directory to save the file.  Navigate to the \MBS32\DEPLOY directory.

3. After the file is downloaded click on the UMBS32 shortcut file on your Desktop. 
The following window will appear.

4. Usually the "F:\MBS32" directory is the correct location for the files to Unzip.  If you have a Microsoft Network or are on the computer with the datafiles you might change the F: to "C\MBS32".

Extra Installation Steps: 
Unzip M32PDDF into the Practice Data directory (e.g. \MBS32\DATA\PRACT1)
and into the  TEMP directory (e.g. \MBS32\TEMP)
