Diagnoses update avialable in Posted Transactions
This patch provides a new feature to MBS users. Posted charge transactions Diagnosis Code field can now be updated. Previously a posted transaction could not be updated. The only way to change any information on the charge transaction was to reverse such entry and re-enter it with the changed information. But now if all you need to change is the diagnosis code in the diagnosis code field in the charge entry facility of a posted <O< transaction YOU CAN! Simply search for the record to be updated, change the diagnosis code as needed, and press F8 to update the record.

Medicare Pennsylvania Medicare Diagnostic Error
PA NSF EClaims sending error "Invalid Carrier Type in payer for MCARE claim" problem was corrected.

Pennsylvania E-Claims Transmission Aborts
Change diagnostic message "Invalid Carrier Type for MCARE payer" to not to abort transmission.

Texas E-Claims DA1 Error
Corrected the sequence field in DA1 record. Right now this is only a warning message. So claims are not been rejected. This patch fixes this problem discovered with E-Claims in Texas. In addition, the DA0 unexpected end of batch error (a.k.a. "Incomplete Session"). Details: DA0 record was getting cut off at position 149 The problem was with charge with ~AT and ~ZD on the same notes field charge entry record. This is OK to do so the code was modified to handle this properly.

New Edits for Pensylvania E-Claims
This patch 970814 affects the state of Pensylvania Electronic claims submission only. Changes required due to new version 2.00
- Include DA0 and DA1 records sequence 02 and so on. Previously on version 1.0, only DA0-01 records were acceptable.
- Patient relationship to insured in PA Ver 2.00 means does patient have coverage of any kind and must alwasy reflect "01".
- FA0-18 units of service format was changed to the embeded single decimal point (0001 to 0010).
- FA0-19 Anesthesia minutes must be zero filled.

System Integrator Re-Link
System Integrator : Corrected the problem of running totals not updating as charges were been entered. This was consequence of adding the 2 new fields to demographics to support MSP Medicare as Secondary payor. The Integrator had not been re-linked to support the field changes made to support the new added fields.

Texas Thin Clearing House Warning Message Cleared
Enable the usage of the Other BIlling parameters use ATT Phys on Demographics or transactions for eclaims billing.
This was causing the warning message:
W MSG-552 MULTIPLE RENDERING NAMES NOT ALLOWED
Downloading MBS 8.1d will correct this.

Temp file cleanup improved for Texas Eclaims
Hard Disk cleanup to remove eclaims diagnostics file types: rsp, ern, zip, log, and fli even if the file has never been printed from the diagnositics screen. By printing the file from this screen an "x" is usually placed in front of the file name, now the program will clean files with or without the X (printed) flag set on the file name.
Downloading MBS 8.1d will correct this.
