This compiled PROCOMM Aspect file uses a different approach to downloading responses and unzipping them. Receipts summary listing program. Corrected two problems: 1. Expanded the output of the Balance forward field from 9 to 11 digits. 2. Also corrected the printer control character order at top of a new page.

"Field can not be modified" error after using the next available function and trying to update an appointment in the Resource Scheduler. The problem was corrected. Also when the F6 Demog function is used from within the scheduler and the scheduler was not called original from within Demographics, an error is displayed "Option not available".

Facility information (Name, FID, address, city, state, zip) on NSF Texas EClaims whenever a place of service MBS code is other than 3 Office or 4 Home. EA1-6, EA1-8, EA1-9

Texas NSF Eclaims for Podiatry Routine Foot care modifier Q7, Q8 or Q9 now will trigger referring physician UPIN to be provided in EA1-16

Procedures 11055, 11056, 11057, 11719 also trigger this EA1-16

NSF Eclaims Texas Podiatry Routine Foot care modifier Q7, Q8, Q9 procedures 11055, 11056, 11057, 11719 (place ~LS on reminder field) if the notes field in charge entry facility provides ~LS followed by the date the patient was last seen by his primary (referring) physician, this date last seen is reported in EA0-46

Electronic Claims NSF Format State of Texas Routine Foot Care procedures with modifier Q7, Q8, Q9 require UPIN Number in EA0-20 and the date last seen in EA0-46. Date Last seen reflects the last seen date for the current claim. The UPIN number is the UPIN of the attending physician in the transaction with the modifier Q7, Q8 or Q9.

HCFA 1500 Paper Claims MEdicare mandate for Routine Foot Care procedures with modifier Q7, Q8, Q9 require UPIN Number and date last seen in Block 19. Date Last seen reflects the last seen date for the current claim. The UPIN number is the UPIN of the attending physician in the transaction with the modifier Q7, Q8 or Q9.

A few new things on the horizon:

• MBS Utilities for Windows 95 Users [BETA available now!] - These "neat" little tools offer some "crafty" solutions that have not be avialable in DOS. A precusor to the Windows version, these programs release a little power to the "top level" user, TODAY!
• MBS for Windows 95 [BETA] - Look for more news here. Our goal is currently a full BETA release by May of 1998.
• Cancer CD Release - The much awaited release of "A Family with Cancer". This family education CD-ROM will assist children and family alike, with the issues related to treatment of a adolescent cancer patient. Live interviews, animations and text fill the CD with content for both Children and Adults.
• Improved On-Line Support - It is our goal to continued to improve the documentation and files acces via the WWW. Currently all patches and support documentation are available on our web site. Electronic version of Claim Specifications are also available for some states, update notes are always available via the news pages!
• CSPWIN - Customer Support Program for Win95 to Novell, Win95 to NT and Win95 Peer to Peer. This new Customer Program will be offered in the Spring of 1998 and require an Internet Connection. This new "Top" level support will allow for faster support and improved delivery of updates and documentation. In addition, support issues that envolve Indirect Product Support (issues related to the operating system or support software products) will only be offered at this level. All other support programs are limited to Installed HealthData Products only. A downturn in homogeneous installed hardware nationwide will force the complete elimination of hardware level support programs that remain. Look for information of New Technical Support programs here or via regular mail.
