TBCare by HealthData Resources, Inc.
Tuberculosis is the number one fatal disease in the world! The growing presence of Multiple Drug Resistant strains and the spread of the disease is complicated by incomplete treatment delivery. The inability to track treatment for highly mobile patients can compound this problem. The current state-of-the-art tracking is TBNet.
The TBCare program, modeled on the TBNet system, is designed to provide access by multiple health information management mediums;
- Local Program operation with data transferred via the TBCare SmartCard (see about SmartCards) the patient carries to participating healthcare facilities,
- Remote ActiveX access via the Internet.
- Local Program operation with batch data uploading via Internet, EMail and Modem.
Data entry and access can be made by clinics or doctors administering treatment. Reporting compatibility with SPSS and Crystal Reports. TBCare operates in Spanish as "TBCura." Effective, secure, and mobile, TBCare.
